Pitts Second_Sept.4

“This Is Our House!”  Titled SECOND HOMES … PITTSBURGH, here is the only print that showcases the homes of the Steelers, Pirates, Penguins and Panthers together.  And moreover, here are the Second Homes of every fan--since each was or is a home away from home.  And here are the thrills and memories.  Second Homes not only for sports, but also for graduations, concerts and so much more.  Pittsburgh’s homes.

Shown left to right:  Civic-Mellon Arena, PNC Park, Pitt Stadium, Three Rivers Stadium, Heinz Field, Forbes Field and PPG Paints Arena … complete with the Honus Wagner, Roberto Clemente and Mario Lemieux statues, the YOU’RE IN STEELERS COUNTRY banner, and the top of Cardiac Hill (as well as the Pittsburgh Skyline reflection on PPG Paints Arena and the Gulf Tower behind Mellon Arena).  And 22 Championship Pittsburgh Teams played in them, the championship seasons as follows:

Civic-Mellon Arena:  Pittsburgh Penguins 1991, 1992 and 2009 Stanley Cup Champions

Pitt Stadium:  Pitt Panthers 1929, 1931, 1934, 1936, 1937 and 1976 National Champions

Three Rivers Stadium:  Pittsburgh Steelers 1974, 1975, 1978 and 1979 Super Bowl Champions

and Pittsburgh Pirates 1971 and 1979 World Series Champions

Heinz Field:  Pittsburgh Steelers 2005 and 2008 Super Bowl Champions

Forbes Field:  Pittsburgh Pirates 1909, 1925 and 1960 World Series Champions

PPG Paints Arena:  Pittsburgh Penguins 2016 and 2017 Stanley Cup Champions

You will note a splash of at least two colors have been applied to each venue.  The colors represent principle team colors from each team’s history--such as, needless to say, Black & Gold and Powder Blue.  In addition, the Heinz Field sign is done in the distinctive Heinz red.  (Obviously the visuals shown here on our website simply cannot do justice to the meticulous detail of the actual print.)

SECOND HOMES … PITTSBURGH is available in four framed versions starting at only $29, and two unframed prints for $9.95 and $20 that you can buy direct from us or at AMAZON.COM.  This print is part of our national “Evolution History of Team Uniforms and Venues” series.  “Homes, Sweet Homes!”
